The complex consists of two connected components of which the following functions are housed in the first component: a nursing home with five group homes with 30 nursing places (psycho-geriatrics), 75 apartments, care, intramural 57 m2, 6 apartments of 57m2 temporary care, 28 apartments ranging in size from 85 m2 to 128 m2 and various support facilities. The central hall in this portion accommodates a general practice with threedoctors and social work. The second building provides space for 71 apartments (sheltered) in three sizes, namely, 75m2, 85m2 and 100m2. The complex shows itself on the south, situated on a green park zone, and four large urban villas connected by a sky bridge. Level 1 is an interior road that connects all the components together: Parking is on site, partly in a parking garage under one of the above components, with a capacity of 77 cars and partly within and adjacent to the building for 52 cars. Noteworthy is also is also the use of a renewable energy source for heating the apartments, namely, the warm water in thelocated in Heerlerheide abandoned mine tunnels.
